Storm season in the UK makes for tricky shooting conditions with a drone. I sought shelter from Storm Atiyah here in December 2019, and hugged the cliffs of the Jurassic coast in an attempt to hide from the wind to shoot a panoramic set.

A photograph from Sheepstor, Dartmoor that I took from the tor opposite. It’s a great spot that overlooks Burrator reservoir and most of Plymouth. Not too hard on the legs either!

It was a warm summer morning when I was out on the beach not too far from my Mum’s house. It was so calming at peaceful having the beach to myself, apart from the sea snails and limpets in the picture that is! I feel that this photo really captures the calm that pre-dawn always brings, as well as the beauty of the sea looking misty and eerie with the long exposure.

Beer is a small fishing village located in East Devon on the Jurassic Coast. With the fishing boats sitting right on the beach, it’s a great place to find colour even on the most overcast of days.

A lovely tranquil, sunny day on the Dorset coast, I spotted these two paddle boarders on a calm sea, with nothing around them. It looked so peaceful.

I met this guy abroad his boat, when he’s not catching fish for the local coast town he’s making the most of the sun and tourists. he would take guided tours abroad is vessel and being to spill out this life time of knowledge of the local area and life beyond. If is hands could talk of the rough seas and stormy weathers outside of the summer season and beyond we’d begin to release how much work goes into the survival of are coastal towns.

Portland Bill is the iconic lighthouse on the headland near Weymouth. The lighthouse had been newly painted and the blue, semi-cloudy sky made a great contrast in colours.

The fascinating collection of rooftops and houses in the picturesque town of Portland Dorset. The mixture of colours and textures standing out. One of my favourite places to photograph this old fashioned looking scene.

Holiday in cornwall, this style of edit is new to me and I’ve been on a path of learning. I used my Canon 750D and my 55-200mm lens to take this.

A last minute drive to Blackchurch Rock in Devon resulted in cracking sunset lighting up the cliff faces. We could barely walk after the 3 hour drive in a Land Rover Defender and got home at 2am, but totally worth it.

On a walk through the Valley of the Rocks in North Devon on a typical British summer’s day. The opportunity for this shot was too good to miss.

You could be anywhere in the world, but even on a hit summers day there is solitude to be had on the golden beach at Durdle Door. This photo gives a sense of peace

Summertime on The Jurassic Coast at Durdle Door Dorset. Blue sky and blue sea. One of the most beautiful places to visit. This photo makes me feel happy and relaxed and marvel at Natures beauty.

After a 5am start and 70 miles of driving we arrived at Durdle Door. The wind was howling as we walked down to the beach in the dark alongside a few other photographers. We’d checked the weather the night before and new there would be a clear sunrise so we sat and waited…

The black and white contrast in this photo brings out the dramatic seas. Whilst not too rough, the wind was building, as were the seas. The shadows cast by the varying levels of rock add a level of detail only brought out by the use of contrast.

I spent a good 2 minutes staring at this scene, thinking it looked oh-so-familiar, when it dawned on me that it's the setting for the film Hot Fuzz. Yarp!

Taken with a fisheye lens to try and get as close to 180 degree view of the upper half of the cathederal and to capture the cross-shape of the gilded ceiling. Was posted earlier in portrait format, but has much more impact in landscape.
